Hailed by travel writers as being perhaps the most satisfying and interesting trek in the world, the trail takes you through the deepest gorge on Earth, below and past nine of the highest peaks of the Himalayas, most of them well over 7,000 meters, experiencing an amazing kaleidoscope of pristine cultures that never change, but with flora, fauna and landscapes that do change frequently. At various places along the route, visit some of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in the world. In the middle of the trek, cross the challenging and fabled Thorong-la Pass (5,414 m) down to the sacred Hindu/Buddhist shrine of Muktinath (3,810 m).
