A 25 kilometer street off the main highway associating Pokhara and Kathmandu takes you to ancient Gorkha - the untouched and spellbinding town of Nepal. Gorkha is one of the historical places of Nepal. The major attractions of this village tour are Gorkha palace which is situated on the top of hill at altitude of 1000m and can be reached by climbing, about one thousand seven hundred steps (1700) from the bottom, in about two hours from where one can see Himalayan range including spectacular view of Manaslu and Himalchuli mountains, and panoramic views of the valleys, Manakamana temple.
